Welcome To The Bridge of Hope
Connecting People. Transforming Lives.
Announcement
At all campuses during worship on June 1, 2025, it was announced that the ministry currently located at the Bridge of Hope campus will move to the main campus on Taylorsville Road this summer. In particular, the contemporary worship experience and outreach ministry are an integral part of our ministry as we seek to reach our community and make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
The last Sunday for worship at the Bridge of Hope campus will be June 22. On this day we will celebrate the ministries that formed the Bridge, share in Holy Communion and give thanks for the ministry of student pastor Danii. For this past year, Danii has brought energy and Spirit to the Bridge while being a full time student at Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Danii’s assignment with us will end with this transition. Danii is working with the Cabinet for a next assignment as he completes a Master of Divinity degree.
Starting June 29, we will host an informal modern worship service at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings in the Activity Center. During the summer months, we will worship together around tables with song, prayer, and a message as we build community at the Taylorsville campus.
This summer will be full as we prepare to live into a new Sunday morning schedule come September. We are envisioning and planning for:
· 8:30 am – Chapel worship (traditional) in Holden Chapel
· 9:30 am – Modern worship in the Sanctuary
· 11:00 am – Traditional worship in the Sanctuary
We will host a Town Hall meeting on Monday, June 30 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary to share further details and plans, and will continue to provide updates in the monthly Sonlight newsletter. Please continue to join us in praying:
Glorious, all-powerful God,
Bless us with your transforming grace,
that we might be and do abundantly far more than we can ask or
imagine.
Remake us anew that we may be a blessing to others
as the heart, head, hands, and feet of Jesus in our community and for
the world.
Amen.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Wendy Lybarger, lead pastor
